Privacy Policy
General Information
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website hagenhuebel.de (www.hagenhuebel.de). We attach great importance to data protection. The collection and processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Controller
The controller responsible for the collection, processing and use of your personal data within the meaning of the GDPR is:
If you wish to object to the collection, processing or use of your data by us under these data protection provisions, either as a whole or for individual measures, you may address your objection to the controller named above.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you access our website, Vercel, acting as our technical service provider, automatically collects information transmitted by your browser (so-called server log files), in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page accessed, the browser used and the operating system. This data is technically necessary in order to display the website to you and to ensure its stability and security.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing our website securely and efficiently pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel. As Vercel may also process data in the USA, a transfer to a third country takes place; this is safeguarded by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses as well as Vercel’s certification under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Web Analytics (Vercel Web Analytics)
To analyse the use of our website statistically, we use Vercel Web Analytics, a service provided by Vercel Inc. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to be privacy-friendly:
- No cookies are set, and no information is stored on or read from your device.
- No personal profiles are created, and no cross-site or cross-device tracking is carried out.
- Your IP address is not stored, but only processed temporarily to generate an anonymous, daily-rotating identifier that allows visits to be distinguished.
- Only aggregated, anonymous metrics are collected, such as page views, referring page (referrer), device type, browser, operating system and country, as well as anonymous interaction events (e.g. scroll depth and clicks within image galleries).
Since our website is hosted by Vercel in any case, your IP address is already technically known to Vercel at the moment of the page request (see the “Hosting” section), as it is strictly necessary in order to deliver each request. The use of Vercel Web Analytics therefore does not disclose your IP address to any additional third party; even within the web analytics it is not stored, but only processed temporarily.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in the needs-based design and improvement of our website pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As no cookies or comparable technologies are stored on or read from your device in this process, consent pursuant to Section 25 TDDDG (formerly TTDSG) is not required. The data processing agreement mentioned above also applies to Vercel Web Analytics; any transfer to the USA is safeguarded in the same way as for hosting.
Your Rights
You have the right to obtain information from us at any time about the personal data stored about you. This also concerns its origin and recipients as well as the purpose of the data processing.
You also have the right to request the correction, deletion and restriction of the processing of your personal data. You furthermore have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time. A list of all processing activities in which we process personal data relating to you is available on request.
You may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data is unlawful.
Purposes of Data Processing
We process your personal data only for the purposes stated in this privacy policy. Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those stated. We only pass your personal data on to third parties if:
- you have given your express consent to this,
- the processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you,
- the processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation,
- the processing is necessary to safeguard legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in your data not being passed on.
Deletion of Data
As a matter of principle, we delete personal data when there is no need for further storage. Such a need may exist in particular where the data is still required in order to perform contractual services or to fulfil warranty and, where applicable, guarantee claims. In the case of statutory retention obligations, deletion is only considered after the respective retention obligation has expired.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time with effect for the future. The current version is always available here. Please visit the website regularly and inform yourself about the applicable privacy policy.
